Anybody got their L36 torn down to the heads?
I am looking at porting my LIM. Can anyone who has their motor torn down to the heads measure their intake ports for me? So far I've understood per Will Wren'* posts he measured 1.9 x .9. Is this the "magic" number? Will be waiting for your responses. Anyone interested on porting their LIM'*...stay tuned. I plan on taking many pics and giving a heads up as I go. Need these measurements before I get started though. Thanks much.

If I was a betting man, I'd say that the intake ports are dimensioned to 1.98 +/- .04 x .94 +/- .04. If I bet even more, I'd bet that measured from the widest point, the walls of the intake ports angle around 2 degrees inwards as they move towards the extents of the ports.
If I was a bettin man.

That'* a bit bigger than all the cylinder heads I've measured. While those may be the factory specs, I've never seen one that went to 1.98".
Let'* try to get some real-life measurements to see if it matches the 4 or 5 engines I've measured.

What points on the port do you measure from?
