Series 2 Intake manifold for a Series 1(supercharged)
Does anybody know if a series 2 intake manifold witll fit on to the series 1? If it does Could we put the M90 on our series 1 SC 3800? Or is there a converion manifold that is made. God, could we get some power this way. If it was all apart we could have the manifold ported do a throttle body and pulley before we put it in. Very interesting. I'm losing sleep thinking about it. please help

And the valve sequence is different.......and the M90 nosedrive is longer.....belts and pulleys are different routing....fuel rail, Throttle body mounting and size.....and on and on. This would be very expensive. Nothing is impossible, but this would cost you dearly. There are other cheaper alternatives to hopping up a Series 1.

I can get you a port and polish for the original intake or have a custom one made. If you e-mail me I can send you pictures of other custom product but I don’t want to give away my secrets due to the waters are murky lately.

Porting and polishing the lower intake manifold in the */C cars won't do much. It would if it was N/A, but */C it is under boost so those are not really restrictions. ZZP has tried many versions of the inlet for the Series 2 */C lower intake manifolds and only got a little more power. It is pretty effecient already, if you want more power, you have to dive into the heads, not the intake manifold. You are doing N/A tuning on a */C car.

M90 on series 1
so has anybody put a m90 on a series 1? How much would a custom intake manifold cost. I have another car that i drive year round and take the bonneville out when it is nice so if it takes a while i don't care. Wouldn't this be a hugh upgrade? Or am i looking at things in the wrong light? Is the level of boost not the problem? What is thie series 1 major weak point? What is a must have part or mod that opens this thing up. Besides all the little bolt ons. I think this car has the potential to do low 14'* or am i wrong? Is nitrouis the answer? or will it add issues?

Most will not make a kit due to the small numbers. I have access to one of the best manifold makers in racing and he will make you anything you want and well you are at it you can just swap a twin screw to the unit and since swapping a m90 will require rewiring and computer changes anyway you might as well rebuild the engine with a twin screw. There are a tone of options but if you want to get into it call me at 559-709-4127. Sorry my phone was turned off earlier so now it’* on.
For a simple solution I can get you a intercooler to do the job. Let me know what you want and I can get it for you and on custom work I give you my cost so you get the best deal possible. I just want to see it happen.

I agree with Ty that going with a Twin Screw Kenne Bell supercharger would be better with an intercooler. And I would like to see it get done as well and see how it turns out.
