not sure if i would make a difference but i hit my TB with a temp gun and it was 120deg at running temp of 180deg. so if you could lower the temp then iam sure of some performance gain but not sure of how much.

For starters, that will only work on a Series II. This is for the guy who'* trying to get every little speck of horsepower for a track run. It might make a slight difference on a car that has been heavily modded.
