Jet Chips / Custom Chips

I see that a few members on BC are running Jet Chips or Custom Chips. I was wondering what perameters did they actually modified. Could you notice a difference (could drop a pulley size, less KR, quicker shifts, etc.) People with custom chips please reply also.

You can tell them want you want done. Perhaps the biggest thing you can feel is the quick and high shift points that are established.

Wow really?!?! So eveyone is custom?

Intense does configuring. There are some other ones out there too. If you live near a city you can probably look up performance shops and find something in the yellow pages.

Is you car 96+ or 92-95?
96+ have some nice pcms to choose from.
92-95 have chips that can be programmed. Less resources but still do-able.

I've been wanting to post this earlier, but haven't gotten around to it.
Looks like a legit programmer too. Just don't know about the SC'ed 3800 memcals he does.
Anyhow, I've been seeing these auction's for a couple months.
Here are his current auctions:

I just saw this the other day.
But there's no info on how they went about changing the chip. I mean testing. So i dunno....

Sorry I should of told you guys '92-'95, that is why the title of the topic is Chips not PCM's

So I want to know people with chips what did they change and to what?

I've been working with gmtuners for a few months now on my chip
So far i've got:
6400 shift points
Raised idle(keeping the alt happy with the lope)
Advanced timing
Reconfigured fuel curve for the 36# injectors
and some other stuff i'm trying out.

6400 RPM shifts!!! Isn't that a little high for even your mods? I'd think more around 6200. What do you have done to the heads? Springs? Retainers? Porting? I'd think you'd need most of these for a 6400 shift point.
