Default Shopping for 1.8 ratio rockers on a SII - What should I buy?

Well, I'm thinking that I'm going to do rockers soon and have been looking around at the offerings. I don't want to change my springs, so I'm going to go with 1.8 ratio rockers. I'm also not looking for anything crazy, and don't want to put undo stress on my timing chain and tensioner as I plan on having my car for at least 5 more years (1 more year of HS and 4 years of college).

With my 4T60-E trans, I'm not going to raise my shift points much (maybe 100 rpm when I get some tuning software), so I don't think I'd see much more benefit benefit from 1.9 ratio rockers.

I don't want reworked stock rockers, but that'* just me. I'm going to buy some type of new aluminum rocker (unless anyone knows of where I can get my hands on some stainless steel roller rockers???)

Harland Sharps would seem good, but then there'* this??? http://www.zzperformance.com/miscftp/badrockers4.jpg

I'd like to keep my business with Intense, but the Yella Terra rockers just seem really flimsy and I know that aluminum can't take much flex before fatiguing and breaking. Same goes for the ZZP rockers, looks like they'd snap like twigs.

Right now, I'm leaning towards the SLP rockers, but they're $50 more than the Yella Terra rockers?

What do your guys think and what rockers do you run on your car?

I'm actually shopping for rockers as well, so I'm curious to see the responses. I can say that I'm more likely to go with a company that backs up its product. I would also advise that unless you have a fresh engine, you should change your valve springs as well - talk to any engine builder about this, I'm sure they can attest to how light factory springs usually are and how quickly they will wear down with higher lift and pressure.

I-Win 1:9s are what I have and am very happy with them. Even with the stock PCM the gains are very noticable.

Hmm, figures there is no mention of that mistake being made good. All the damaged rockers and faulty pedestals(which were the cause of the problem) were replaced for free.
As for which rocker you want it depends on where you want to buy and how much you want to spend. I don't think you need to worry about any kind of rocker arm breakage, they shouldnt flex at all, only go up and down.

I knew there had to be something more to that story, and there it is.

I guess I'm leaning towards either Yella Terras or SLPs, but I don't know. I like how the SLPs are more beefy, but I'd like to buy from Intense. I don't know.

And, I know that I should probably relpace my springs too, but I've only got 72k on my motor, and I really don't feel like replacing the springs. If I get valve float, I can always go in later and do the springs 'cuz it'* not that hard to take the valve covers and rockers off an H-Body 3800.

Has anyone ever heard of anyone having an issue with an aluminum rocker fatiguing under stress and breaking?

Do yo have any more specifics reguarding that? The ZZP and Yella Terra rockers look the same and both weigh 6 oz. each, but the SLP ones look different. Are they made by Yella Terra but are different rocker arms (beefier) , or are you saying all 3 are the same?

Rogue, how big is the oil hole in the Yella Terra pushrods? How does it compare to stock and your 5/16 oil restricted pushrods? Somewhere in between would be perfect, like your light-weight 5/16 pushrods.

I would say reworked stockers or ZZP'* 1.84 aluminum rockers.
