Default Aftermarket parts for series 1 engines?

Is there a website that is still active that sells performance parts for the series 1s or would it just be better to swap to a series 2?

I have 2 Buick Regals(a '93 and '94) and i love that body style to death and dont want to give it up for a newer car lol

Sorry for the noob question for this site lol amd thanks for answering

Keep in mind not alot of those things are power-adders. And alot of them are tougher, but most Series 1 cars here don't necessarilly need that.

The best way to go about this is for you to tell us your realistic goals and realistic budget, and we'll help you come up with the best things to do to the car to accomplish that.

Well i a regular over on the RegalGS forum. and i have pretty much figured that my goal lie witha series 2 but i was just wondering if there was a website that sold parts for the the series 1s besides seriesoneperformance.com which i think is no longer active.

Cuz if there is a website then for the price to transplant a series 2 could get me some good parts but if there isnt then i need to find a wrecked GP, Regal, or a Bonne with the engine and tranny still working to get all the parts i need.

Im willing to do the transplant cuz then i can get to know how the engine works alil better and do a whole rebuild and put on the parts id like all at once. I plan to put in twin turbos.

Drew, please read this:
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=73691

It'll help us help you better.

Another BIG help would be for you to put your car information in your signature by editing your profile.

The difference between a Series 1 and Series 2 boils down to two questions:

1. Do you want a stoplight racer?
2. Do you want a freeway passer?

The answer to 1 is 1.

The answer to 2 is 2.

Sorry about my spelling and stuff. I'm using my laptop which I'm not used to using still.

My plan is to put in twin turbos to use at the track(too many tickets as is). This is my only working car so thats why id like it to also be a good daily driver. I find turbos do better gas milage than a heavily modded */C due to the boost not kicking in til u really push the rpms up fast at WOT.

Many of us have actually IMPROVED our mileage as we Mod our L67'*. Most of us, in fact.

Something to think about. Superchargers are still very efficient in how they handle boost and bypass.

Yeah i've noticed that over in the regal forum but in order to get a 10 sec car with alil less strain on the engine i find turbos to do better. I don't deny that the M90s are great and do wonders for our cars but being young, liking the Grand National, and wanting to beat my friends 11 sec Nova, turbos will do that hands down. I have an M90 in my house lol i made a mistake and bought that instead of a M62. I came here to ask if there was any websites that sold good performance parts for the series 1 engines(here you all know more thing about the series 1s than any place i know) cuz then id just find an M62 and a PCM that can handle it and go from there cuz i think a turbo would be too difficult to tune on a series 1 and if there wasn't any websites then id just start saving up for the transplant.

What i've figued on doing so far would do all the upgrade at once, that way id mostly not have a car for 5 days, hopefully. For the engine replacing everything pistons, crank, heads, etc. Trade in the the tranny for a dynotech one. I already have the exhaust to handle the turbos, besides the headers(which i have a friend that can take care of that). Figure out how to wire the thing and if i need to make an adaptor for anything i figured id have it made by the time i do the install mostly cuz its still goin to be awhile before i even get the money to do all of this.

Sorry for not putting this down sooner, being young(im only 19 lol) and i didnt think of putting everything that needed to be said down right away.
