Intense "power package" questions, rogue or anyone

I'm considering putting new wheels on the back burner for a while and focusing my attention to making a little more power. The question is this: If I wanted to get the Stage 2 package from Intense, can I upgrade the 3.4 pulley to a 3.2 pulley and obviously the computer tune to match? Or is it one of those things that you need headers and hi-flow cat for the smaller pulley to truly see the power gains and reduce the KR? Basically I was just concerned about changing the price of the stage 2 package, I really dont want to spend any more than that (~$850.00). Nor do I want to spend money on something that's not really going to give me 100% performance. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Joe.

The stage 2 setup will use the standard PCM tune no problems. I would not go to a 3.2 pulley without headers. I tried it and couldnt do it (still getting 4 or so KR). The 3.4, rockers, FWI and PCM tune will give you a NICE difference (almost 60hp and about the same in torque).

Rogue is right, if your car is stock right now, the stage 2 will be for you like "BAAAAAM"

low 14's high 13's depending the conditions.

Shit, I should just sell my SE for a SSEi (00+) because a Stage 2 pkg for the SSEi gives you 60 hp while a Stage 2 N/A pkg gives you a measly 25 hp. Now I realize the full potential of the SSEi!

3.2" will be tough with opening up the exhaust. A high flow cat and 3" downpipe you could run a 3.3"

I ran 3.3" with togs and no 1.9 rockers for a while, was ok but huge improvment WITH rockers.

Thanks for the heads up fellas, I guess I'll just have to live with a measly 60hp increase then    Will the stage 2 have a noticeable affect on gas mileage (considering I can keep my foot out of her)? Thanks again.

Joe.

Joe.

Your going to lose a mile or two, not noticable on the higway but in town with all the 'spirited' driving you will notice it ;)

Have you ever taken it to the track?? What kind of 1/8 mile times should an SSEi put down with a stage 2 considering a decent launch? Thanks.

Joe.
