Default Average MPG?

I am getting about 20 mpg on average. The car is still pretty dead stock. Wondering what others are getting after various mods.

Is that hiway/city combined? Much depends on where you live/drive. I don't compute my mixed or city driving. Not worth it. Long I-5 trips I get 29/30 most of the time, cruise set at 75. Most mods will actually increase efficiency if you can keep your foot out of it.

BTW, this mileage is with 92 octane.

I don't know how the hell ppl get 28-30 mpg on the highway. I think my best would be 22 if I didn't jolt to 110 at times. With cruise set most of the time, and a few burns to 90-100 I get about 400 miles to the tank.

I'll really have to stop flooring it and just drive at 75 no matter what, and see if that helps. But I run with 89 gas..should I use something else...I wouldn't think so since I'm N/A.

Running 94 octane my DIC says I average 22 with mostly city driving. On long highway runs..say..to Toronto..I get about 28-31 MPG, unless im following bonnie94sse then its more like 8 mpg...

I think 8mpg may be too high.

Seriously, next time I go up there I'm staying on cruise at 75...hopefully I can do that though. Most of the time traffic in front slows down below the speed limit for no apparent reason and I have to start using my feet again. And then there are times when there'* a rice boy on my a$$ and I have to teach him a lesson on "Read my license plate 101"

I'll try to calm down next trip.

I can't tell you how many times I wish I had my camera in the car while we were driving back. I saw some of the fugliest riced out cars. I saw a 3 foot wing on the back of a miata convertible for crying out loud
