What were you running your slicks at(psi wise). Also in what geare & rpm are you launching at. Im surprised to see that your slicks would slow you down about .6 hundreths of a sec. If you got true slicks I would run them about 13/15 psi, but if they are the radials about 18/20 psi. Are you just going to upgrade to the Walbro fuel pump. Its only $130 dollars.

On the MP112 motor we saw this weekend, the guys working on it, said the stock fuel system was pretty much gone cause it couldn't handle the 500 HP behemoth. They were still working on fuel pressure among other things. Not a bad call. Jeffrey you woulda liked to see that monster.... They spun tires at 40mph under 1/2 throttle....

There'* a treat for you. About $20k into the drivetrain.... MP112 blower, about 25% bigger then the m92, custom intercooler, fuel system, intense EVERYTHING. 100 RPM higher idle, couldn't run long without attention, and being tuned up. Think wren has loud */C whine? This thing has */C GROAN...

Yes the GTP'* w/MP112'* are INSANE. They all put down crazy amounts of power. I am not sure about that particular GTP, but the 2 MP112 cars that I know of have Intense Stage 3 Cams & Heads. Definately beasts. Way more maintinance then I would ever want to mess with. Think about it, the MP112 cars are only .5-.75 seconds quicker than our GTP and ours has the stock tranny, stock cam, stock heads, and stock blower. Meaning ours is about $10k+ cheaper, and not much slower, and MUCH MORE RELIABLE, and is a lot more of a streetable car. Not that those aren't streetable, just that with those big huge cams you wouldn't want to drive them on big long trips.

crap........... thats a ford lighting SC
WOW
Yes, yes it is. CRAZY HUH?

i started at 19 psi and they were low and running on the edges, so i raised them to 21 and they worked great. the slicks didnt slow me down, i was running out of fuel. i think im gonna go with a LS1 granitelli pump that flows 255lph.
the tires i have a 22x8x15 michey thompson ET DRAGS. they are a true slick and made for FWD cars. but low profile, the tech guy at the line thought they were flat with 19 psi in them lol.
also i was launching at 2500 rpm * and shifting at 5700
I have one tip for you...RUN A LOT LESS AIR PRESSURE IN THE SLICKS. We run 14psi in the ET Streets on the GTP and pull consistant 1.7'* and low 1.8 60'*. They may seem low, and they may wear funny like that, but you will get MUCH better traction. I have seen people pull low 1.8 60'* on the stock differential before, the biggest problem is getting a 2 wheeled burnout. Once you do that, it doesn't matter what kind of differential you have. And you may think that your 1.95 60' is good, and it really is considering the car, tranny, etc..., but I pulled a 2.06 on street tires and stock differential in our '90 Turbo Grand Prix, and I pull consistant 2.10 60'* with it, so with a little less air pressure, and a litle more work on the launches, you should be able to pull high 1.8'* AT LEAST.
