Default New Magnaflow Cat

Well, got the Magnaflow cat installed next week. Seems like a nice little mod. Engine is certainly pulling better.
Of course, I was warned to measure before ordering, but I knew better and it seemed like the 91005 would be the right one for me. Well, guess again. 2 1/2 inch pipe, so I ended up with a 94006. Nice clean install. Even a little bit of a burble through the exhaust....

Doing the airbox change this weekend so we'll see how that works out.

Nope. Had a place called Pipes do it. Took no time at all. Up in the air and welded up in 30 min. Can't imagine how long it would have taken for me to do it.
Certainly seems like a worthwhile mod. Car just seems to pull better. After I do the airbox, I might try for some mpg numbers. After all, increasing gas mileage and cutting emissions were the only reason I did the swap!

Only charged me $50 all in, incuding taxes. Hard to get much of anything done for $50 anymore...

nice to see a fellow olds driver

I have recently purchased some hawk HPS pads and some energy suspension end links for the SSEi sway bars I am want to put on..

I also bought some grand prix tri-spoke rims that I painted graphite - I am just waiting on my flippin' tires from Canadian Tire ( almost a MONTH now )

bought some dunlop sport A2'*

My stock L36 has almost 242 000kms on it - and it'* getting tired...

Nope, wasn't real bad, but the difference was certainly noticeable. Between that and the gutted airbox, the difference is unreal.

Hey, 242 K is nothing for an L36.
Where did you find the SSEi swaybars at? Are you coming to the meet on Saturday? Be interesting to compare the SSEi bar to the bar from the Touring Sedan....
