Default Extra hood, Ram air it?

I got a new hood for my car and have the old one with minor damage to the corner that can be fixed. I am looking at those lund scoops (the kind that stick on the hood). My idea is to cut the hood out, insert the lund scoops through the holes, fasten them with rivets and go to town with bondo. The problem I see with this is getting the air to the intake somehow. I have a bunch of sheet metal to make a channel but clearance could be an issue. Has anybody done this that can maybe give some pointers?

Not the ideal spot for a scoop, and ram air won't do much for you but cool things a bit.

Why not ram some air into the engine bay, then mount heat extractors in the back edge near the wipers?

noone has done it, but if you go ahead and do it, you always could use it to cool the */C or let heat out of the engine, that might be better than the ram air

Personally, for functionality, I would suggest scoop reminiscent of the 70'* Firebird Formulas. Small scoops towrds the front of the hood. Similar to this

I really like the look of those earlier T/A scoops, and the louver idea is a good one. The lund ones have the look of the later T/A'a Imo, I would like mine to be as close as possible to the front of the hood. Of couse I'm going for looks as well as fuctional. So bring in cold air into the engine compartment is a better idea than ram air eh? What if I were use the driver side scoop as bringing cooler air into the intake, and the passenger side as bringing air into the engine compartment.

Or do the Will-ram thing like I did with hidden scoops under the front lower airdam. That'* what'* cooling my sc in my sig pic. The other side provides cool outside air to my intake.
