Default Budget performance upgrades? What are some?

I was looking to increase power into my Bonneville, by doing the simple little and cheap things. Also changing the things that matter to keep it going.

So far heres my list of things too do on Sunday/things already done recently:

Oil Change
Seafoam everything
New 02 Sensor
New spark plugs
New screws for pieces that are falling apart in the interior
Removing the front bumper to repair & possibly sand to prep for re-painting

Now for performance, what can I do, is there cheap air filters to replace the stock ones, anything else? Not looking to spend too much here.

For Maintinence, anything that should be checked? Everything is topped off, all fluids are clean. Is there anything hidden I might not think of?

Hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow.

Thanks guys

well the biggest perfromance thing is to add a intake....that is around $100...but if you want to you may want to drop a replacement K&N for you stock airbox

Should I also replace the fuses?

Also, how do I open the throttle body?

I read an article saying if I turn the car off and press the pedal down (or the piece in the engine that you move), and I can clean my throttle blades? I dont see where when I do it, do I have to take something apart?

If the fuses aren't blown, no need to replace them.

The best way to clean the throttle body is to take it out of the car and give it a good cleaning with carb cleaner. If you do that, make sure that you buy a new gasket to replace the old one.
