I've seen the TB entrance on the intake manifold side. Belive me, you will gain next to nothing if going to a larger throttle body. And there is no way to enlarge the intake manifold opening either. I was *thinking* about a 94-95 L67 TB upgrade for the L27, but even that will not work.

I can't imagine an L27 benefiting from a larger TB until alot of other work is done first, most of which is cost-prohibitive, and certainly not a Northstar TB under any but the wildest setups.

Basically L27'* can use any L27 TB from 92-94 or L67 92-93. Remember the L27 wasn't only in Bonnevilles, but also in LeSabres, Regals, TranSports, Lumina APVs...well, you get the idea
If you want performance out of what you have, polish that TB up real good on the inside and *maybe* a shaft shave(?)...wilwren could chime in on that, but that would also mean straying from the original post. I tread lightly when it comes to straying

Hang on a second. 92/93 SSEi throttle bodies are a different part number, and we don't know what the difference is. I've got both here and can't tell, but SOMETHING is different between them.
Polishing? Polish the inner bore everywhere EXCEPT where the throttle plate closes and seals. Mirror-finish. There really isn't any power to be had from that on a bone-stock or mildly-modded car. It won't hurt you, but it'll help down the road maybe.
The best improvement you can make is to mill (on a vertical endmill) the round throttle shaft so that it'* got a flat on each side, parallel to the throttle plate slot, then countersink the screw holes to use flathead screws. This will improve throttle response and get you into WOT quicker.
If you don't have access to a mill to do this yourself, it'* cost-prohibitive. I've done this for several throttle bodies on this forum (one of nearly every engine type/generation) for testing, and the results have all been positive.

Back on topic. Have you per chance, cleaned out your TB yet? Cleaning all the gunk out will yield far better results I would think, than polishing out an already clean one. Less work involved to boot.
