Sorry, I meant the Gen V Supercharger !

The gen V I got from INTENSE although they don't sell them as a product. You can only get them off of 04 GP models or as an 04 part from a gm supplier. They have a larger hole to the intake so you you need an l32 intake manifold as well. Then you will need an L32 to L67 TB adapter as the L32 TB is drive by wire and a different setup. The Gen V SC has an appradable wear coating so the rotors actually contact each other until they wear in forming a perfect seal. A Gen V will move as much air as a gen 3 with .2 smaller pulley but at a slower rpm resulting in less heat.
Average cost for a Gen V with intake and adapter is around 1200-1400 new and if you check out clubgp or 3800tech for sale areas you may get them for about 800-1000. You can always check your local yard for a wrecked 04 gp as well. |

Impossible! The Gen IV can't be better in any way because it has a bigger outlet hole...
"It can only flow so much air" - Someone else on this forum "90 ci is its max displacement" - Someone else on this forum lol.. ~Matt |

they have better rotors, that makes a big difference.

The rotors on the Gen V's make all the difference. I wonder if there is any way to do a rotor swap into our m90 case, from the Gen V? That would probably make it cheaper, but we would need to find the rotors somewhere.
