Default Time for a upgrade

I have one for you guys. I am about to swap out a 94 sse with a supercharged ssei motor. What all will I need to get the job done and done right. They never seem to you what all you will need or sell you things you don't need. If any one has done this swap or knows what to do help me out.

you will need the engine harness and the PCM for the SC engine, you will also need the trans, and BOTH FSM'* for the years that you are working with

If you are going through the trouble of swapping, I would suggest a 97-99 Series 2 L67 swap. Will be a little more initially, but there is more for aftermarket and it is a newer engine. I would suggest doing as Randman1 did with his 90 and buy a wrecked 97-99 bonneville, preferably a rear hit. That way you can drop the sub frames and swap them with motor, tranny, and all still on it. Then you'd just have to figure out the witing, which I am unsure about if it changed that much between the years. the nice thing about having the other car is you should have all the necessary parts.

Either way, you will need to splice the wiring at some point to get things working properly. Search for Frankenbonne and you should get some idea of what he went through.

Or sell your SSE and buy an SSEi. That'* the most cost-effective option.

(disclaimer here......the Series 2 does NOT have more of an aftermarket than the Series 1 with the exception of an intercooler).

I love the Series one myself, WAY more bottom end torque, which, is important..to me anyway lol

There may be cams rockers and other valve train related items for the series 1 but nobody, at least in the US, has dynoed with them. (To my knowledge)
There are cams and such for the series one but I haven't seen any dynos.
The series 2 has cams and other parts that have been developed.
Intense/ZZP have cams that will give you x whp with the supporting mods and they have dynos to prove it.
While the parts are avialable for the series 1, it just seems like a safer bet to mod a S2.
Don't take this the wrong way though. IMO the series 1 has much potential yet to be discovered. But the question is what valve lift/overlap/duration, porting techniques, etc. will get you there?

Mike, all the Series 1 performance parts have been used in the Holden'* in Austrailia for YEARS. With proven results and dynos. They've been modding 3800'* since 1988.
