Traction help needed
I need a 15" wheel, either steel (preferred) or aluminum that will not interfere with my brake calipers and will hold a 26x8.5-15 tire. 5x115 required, correct offset desired.
Any source would be nice, but a known car model that I could find at a wrecker is preferred.

They WILL work. jr's3800 just test-fitted his old steelies from the 91LE onto his 95, and the calipers do clear it, but they're only 6" wide. The tires I'm talking about are listed as 8.5'*, but are actually only a tread width of 8.1". I'd prefer a steel 7" wide 15" rim with the right offset.

Have you tried www.tires.com? They have a 15x7 with our bolt pattern, not sure what the offset is. It'* only 55 bucks

I'd prefer to find a wheel that will work for me at a wrecker. Budget is a very big concern considering most is paying for the tires and tubes.

I know it won't be 15 but I'm sure you could find a 16", The Dodge Charger/Magnum shares the same bolt pattern as us, I'm not sure about the offset, just a thought.
EDIT: had another thought. I assume the steelies will be drag only right? If so, have you thought about widening them? I've seen it done for four-wheeling and I've seen them make them thinner for the drag cars. Might want to check in that.
Another option is to get four steelies and weld two together and get some really large slicks. "Dual Slickies"
