Also, I might suggest getting some Beldin wires from NAPA. They are just as good as the factory wires and cheaper. With the money saved you could buy the o2 similator and some new plugs or an oil change.

ok,
dont know the brand, i took it by the same guy that had modded my hatch.
it have 2.5 intlet\outlet. the cat seem to be good.
may be too much free flow??
i got the car scanned at the dealer , i ask them to give me the exact code but they forget to put them on the bill, (15$)
anyway, the result are:
-Too rich mixture
-Bad Cat system and\ or O2 sensor. ( i dont told them i have a high flow cat)
So my cat is the problem, any suggestion?
im planning to replace the front o2 sensor with a new one but for the rear one?
i got my new wires that will be installed as soon as ill get time to do it.( if it can help for something..)

honestly i dont know if us with OBD2 bonnevilles have upstream/downstream (of the cat) O2 sensors, but I can tell you that the upstream sensor measures engine A/F ratio (how rich/lean you are running) and the downstream sensor is used to measure the efficiency of the cat. that is, the difference in the A/F ratio before and after the cat is measured by the computer.
if indeed the code you are suffering from is PO420 (caralyst efficiency below threshold) AND you have a new cat, then I would venture to say you should replace the rear O2.
if you did not reset the computer when you had the new cat installed, and for some reason it isnt working as well as your old one, then that could be your problem as well.
we reallly need the code though, and are you positive that you have a new cat and that whoever you had do the work didnt just gut your old one?

I have a Magnaflow high flow cat (3" in/out) in my 90 (97 L67 drivetrain) and have never experienced a malfunction. As indicated above, only the upstream O2 is for A/F ratio and the down stream just makes sure there is a cat installed and working.

.. there is a cat under.
ok, so , i need the code number from the too rich mixture?
can it be a bad upstream o2 sensor? (for the rich mixture)
if its my cat, ill try to get a known brand like magnaflow, my mechanic told me it was ok with this one, but he know hondas better than GM :?
grr , it show why sometimes its worthing put some more money.
are you supposed to see throught the cat , like a piping? theres small screens but not much.
and, ill go ..again..to dealer to get the code.
