OBX Stainless Steel Headers 97-03 L67 3800 SC
Anyone ever heard or know anything about these headers? They are pretty CHEAP!!
Description :
This auction is for a brand new stainless steel header system for the 97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with the SUPERCHARGED 3.8L engine. This will not fit the non-supercharged 3.8L engine. ( I DON"T SEE HOW THIS PART IS TRUE) Header system is made from 304 stainless steel for durability and strength. System utilizes 1 3/4" tubing and a 2 1/2" collector. New upper and lower gaskets that go are included for installation. Like all OBX header systems, this too is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
Anything that you may know about these would really help out. Looking to install some headers. They must weigh nothing compared to stock manifolds.

yes they are SLP Knockoffs...( i have the real SLP headers) I have seen a few sets personally. The qualty controll sucks. Some sets look perfect and some sets look like a 4 year old built them.

Ok the headers pictured in this post are the obx headers which are knockoffs of the pacesetters, so the only problem i forsee is the leaky y collector that the pacesetters had a problem with, so maybe if you can have the y collector tig welded in it might be good to go. The other ones are the ssautochrome(xsheaders) which are the knockoffs of the slp headers, they were redone and the welds look a ton better. If you search some posts on clubgp or regalgs.org you will find that a lot of guys are really happy with the ssautochrome headers. I will probably be purchasing a set of the ssautochromes in the spring for the regal. Hope this helps your decision.
