JimmyFloyd 08-25-2005 08:45 AM

umm... intake, exhaust are the first suggestions. After that, there are plenty of options depending on what you are looking to spend.

I tried to ask for a Frequently Ask Question Section but its a no go.

willwren 08-25-2005 10:31 AM

That's what Techinfo is, Steve.

big_news_1 08-25-2005 11:15 AM

I don't think newbies know that, Bill.

:D

ssesc93 08-25-2005 12:56 PM

right! i can help make it visible if you all want to if you all are too busy to do it. Relocate and rename techinfo for FAQ and put up with the rest of the topics.

But check out Intense-Racing.com like mentioned aboove and they can help you out very well. Might even want to go turbo...

McGrath 08-25-2005 03:43 PM

Hey all! This is my best bud Kevin who just got a Bonne. Yesterday we had planed to gut his airbox and drop in a K&N and look what we found...

The answer is no still Steve. Please stay on topic. It's a very simple matter to steer new members to Techinfo when they join.

llBlazin_llLo 08-25-2005 05:47 PM

Well whats the point of saying one vendors products are crap? You just burn bridges that way.
We're slightly less biased than other forums. Besides, INTENSE actually tries to do a few things geared towards the Bonneville. Go to who puts the butter on the bread! :P

mikey 08-25-2005 11:02 PM

gotcha.

I don't believe this is a true statement. By the way, have you ever dealt with us?

And by research you mean?

willwren 08-26-2005 10:35 AM

Let's get an understanding here......most of the INTENSE bashing is on one particular Forum that is OWNED by INTENSE'S biggest rival. Think about it. The REGIONAL clubs from that parent Forum still use INTENSE parts.

Now you see why we're not sponsored. We have no alliegance to any single vendor more than any other.

Get this back on topic, this isn't a Vendor quality topic. I will continue to recommend INTENSE, because quite frankly, they have the best customer service rating out there, bar none (except maybe PulleyBoys).

Back on topic.

mikey 08-27-2005 12:03 AM

i wont do any bashing, but that ^^^ is not the full truth. if you want to see some company censorship, check out 3800tech, erasing and changing threads to promote a certain company, deleting those things that dont follow the plan.....couldn't be to decive the public though....never

I'm pretty certain I know more about what's going on with the vendors than most people here. Keep that S H I T off the boards. No member here has ever had a single issue with INTENSE that wasn't immediately taken care of. They have the HIGHEST rating on this forum. If you believe all the rot you hear, you're going to be a pawn for life. ANY Vendor on this forum carrying blue stars for rank is in good standing. INTENSE is the model for customer service that we judge other vendors by, and WE'RE not sponsored.

BACK ON TOPIC NOW.

griff1455 08-27-2005 12:47 AM

Sorry Bill, I gotta post this .... delete and lock if you like.

Any vendor, and I mean any vendor that will offer advice and reccomend a competitor as well as offer suggestions without steering you to his product starts off with an A rating in my book. I see this all too often in my industry (not automotive), but it carries over to every other industry. That is just customer service plain and simple. I have seen INTENSE as well as other BC recognized vendors provide that type of support on here and it is nothing but appreciated by both registered members and lurkers alike. And I am not even and INTENSE customer ..... yet. The funny thing is, the vendors who provide this type of support usually provide the best product as well as after the sale support.

Admin has already stated to go back on topic, but at the risk of a warning, I feel strongly enough that I have to speak. Please don;t let this be the start of a flaming, we can take it to the lounge, offline, or PM.

Of course the other extreme is also true (I'll leave that to everyone to figure out on their own).

lol, im not the pawn...

willwren 08-27-2005 12:50 AM

:blessing:

Only because it's time someone noticed how often INTENSE reccommends competitor's products if they feel that it's a good choice. That DOES happen here.

Do NOT hesitate to buy from any vendor that we recognize on this forum. ZZP, INTENSE, PFYC, SeriesOnePerformance, etc. If you want opinions on a particular vendor, ask. If you have questions FOR a particular Vendor, post in the Vendor's forum.
