This is just an idea. We all want performance parts for our Bonneys. What have we done to tell the parts makers that we want them? Myself, I have e-mailed and/or phoned the manufacturers to find out if they plan to and why they don't already. All of them replied, "not enough demand for that market". So I figure that if we and all of our bretheren start pestering them via e-mail and/or phone maybe we would let them know that there IS a market. As long as we're happy adapting things then the problem at hand will never be resolved. I have contact; Accel, MSD, Jacobs, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Flow-Tech, Koni, KYB just to name a few. The internet is a powerfull tool lets use it! Don't get me wrong, I love to tinker but it would be nice to every once and a while to get bolt on performance parts.

Well, I understand the manufacturers cause if there isnt a demand, they cannot make alot of bolt on mods cheaper because its not mass produced. But sometimes a bolt on mod isnt always the best. I got custom exhaust because its better for my purposes than any manufactured one will be. And all the engine bolt on parts for a Grand Prix GT will bolt on to our engines typically since its the same one. Like the TB, Underdrive Pulleys, CAI, Headers, Port & Polish work on the heads, rockers, etc. Although the STB in the front doesnt fit, it probably doesnt fit in the back either. I will probably just adapt the Buick STB which is cheaper and should work as well, if not, I will make my own custom one. And I am checking if the sway bars for the GP fit on our cars. I emaild the grandprixstore.com and they said no, but I dont think they have ever checked. That is my next mission. So don't fret, just learn how to adapt and technicaly there are a ton of mods and especially bolt on mods for our cars. I am shooting for 400hp (crank) which will be exceptabal to hunt Corevette'*.

There are a lot of bolt on stuff for the GTP but where some of us have a problem is that our earlier Bonney'* don't except a lot of the GTP stuff without modification. I can't use the GTP'* engine and tranny without converting over to it'* computers and harnesses. The chips and reprogrammed modules are incompatible as well. That'* the dilema for the pre '97 Bonney'*. I agree about the exhaust but not everybody may be close to a reputable Exhaust shop to have it done. The shops here in Savannah, GA don't have a very good reputation for custom jobs. If I had a bender I'd do it myself.

Well, maybe its time to start your own shop! But yeah, I hear you, the pre-Gen II engine Bonny'* have a hard time but if you give the little extra effort, it should pay off.

Well SSEiDu! I could do that e-mail thing for you as long as the other members do not get offended! I don't want to send bulk e-mails to all group members WITHOUT their approvall first! As for me (myself) e-mailing these companies couldn't hurt! I agree that more EXACT performance parts should be available for our cars! But, with that said, most GP parts can be modified to work on our cars too! Some companies like Accel; MSD; Jacobs and K&N have products that will bolt on without any real modifications!

Let me know what you want and I can get it. If it is a one off it will not be cheap, but if you can get enough people together then it will be cheaper. Most of the time the response to things like professional grade drop springs and pillar gauge pods have been at a max 5-10 people. I will have a site up soon and I have access and partnerships with almost every type of factory out there. LOL This has alot more to do with the slow growth and the transition of the market. Currently the numbers of people who want serious performance parts or goodies for the Bonneville are very small. Sill alot of blue hair driving Bonneville’* and Buick’*.

Here is a list of things you can get right now.

Drop Coils

Converted struts so they can take on cartridges( koni)

Pillar gauge pods

4t60-e HD Transaxle with limited slip differential running 300hp with no problems, I am currently working on the 450hp version.

CAI from angry duck racing coming soon.

Professionally built Racing coil over kits and adjustable anti-sway bar kits.
I also offer a bunch of plastic repair stuff and a few other goodies I will also offer almost all the products you can get at the GP store or other similar stores but for the Bonneville and Buick.

I don’t build it myself I find the best product out there and provide the access.
Now the main idea of the site will be to include other vehicles also needing products but cars that have a bigger customer base with a larger wallet.

TY
