Headers?

I was wondering who had them. And how hard the install was. I am thinking of SLP, but i was wondering if the installation would be difficult. I know 95nasta has TOG's but does any else have any that could tell me how everything went.

Allmachtige has SLP's

Both Rogue and i have the SLP's also.

The install on the 2000's isn't that bad a few hours, but i don't know about the clearances on your year.

I have TOG headers and all went well.

The included downpipe with flex coupler actually lined up perfectly with the OEM catalytic converter once the factory downpipe and flange was removed. I was able to hold up the converter with a coat hanger which worked well to drive it to the muffler shop where I had a high flow cat installed.

On the TOGs it seamed the downpipe end sits a little lower than it does on a GP. In order to tuck the rest of the exhaust up into the tunnel where it is stock, the guy took some mandrel bent stainless steel pipe and cut in into four sections longer on side than the other. He fitted them on the car, tack welded them into place to make a smooth flowing transition section and finished it with a TIG welder.

Most people would be happy with either the SLP or TOGs though the SLP have a slip joint connection with T-bolts on the cross-over that tend to leak versus the TOGs with flanges and donuts. Most people agree the flex coupler on the TOGs is better than the SLP which many say emits audible ticking.

Hope that helps...

Cheers,

Since TOG is out of business, SLP seems to be the only real solution available.

There is also some new SLP-like headers and S&S Headers. The S&S headers have smaller/longer primaries and I've read some negative things about thier quailty.
