Flowmaster Super 44
What do you guys think of this muffler on '00+ SSEi'*? Here'* the direct info link http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/44_super.html . They say its their most aggressive, deepest sounding muffler ever. They're advertising it as 'New'. I'm not sure how new it is, since I haven't checked the Flowmaster site over 4 months until the other day. HAs anybody looked into it or tried it out? Or will I be the guinea pig? lol

I dont know how they would sound on a v6, but I did install one on my buddies 92 C1500 5.7 truck. He had a single 3" system (no cat) all the way back to a Delta 40 with a 3" tailpipe. I installed Pacesetter headers and the 3" in 2.5 dual outlet Super 44 with 2.5 dual tailpipes and 3.5" stainless tips. This is by far the best sounding exhaust system I have done (with the exception of a big block Z28 I did). It has a real deep muscle car like sound with a nasty bark. Him and I are more than inpressed with the results. I have put a lot of V-Force, Flowpro, Flowmaster, and even the new Cherry Bomb systems together. And this Super 44 is definatley the best sounding. Well, I guess since nobody has tried putting them on a Bonneville, I'll be the first to try it. I'll let you guys know how they sound/perform once I get the work done.

I'll post a sound clip for sure. The 40 Series Delta Flows I have are alright, but they're moody. They always have a decently deep rumble when the car is in idle. The problem is on acceleration. Sometimes they sound mean, and other times they sound like what they are...trying to make a V6 unsuccessfully sound like a V8. Almost there, but not quite. Then again, on some days they sound too tinny, like rice on serious steroids. Its disgusting. I should have gone with the regular 40 or 50 Series instead. Live and learn, I guess.
My wife is going to put some growly exhaust on her '07 GP GXP, so I have to do something to help my sound, lol. She already brags about how her car is faster than mine. She'* beaten me in all but one drag race, and thats only because I used technique. Time to call Intense . She can talk all the crap she wants. When it comes down to it, I've got the Bonneville and that trumps all, lol.
