Default ZZP 1.0 PCM ???

Has anyone used this PCM in there Bonnie. I'm considering getting one for my 2000.
Right now it is stock other than a gutted air box, a K & N filter & 180F thermostat . But I'm planning on adding a shift kit, 3.4 pulley, high flo cat, & possibly headers.
The biggest things I'm interested in are, Raised shift points & rev limiter, 185F fan turn on, P0128 code removed, & rear 02 & EGR delete.
I may do some other mods down the road somewhere but I havent made up my mind completely as to what all I wont to do with this car.
Any opinions on them???

Oh I forgot to add I will also be port matching the heads & LIM over this winter along with a bit of cleaning up on the TB & inlet of the SC.

Ya I've looked at them before. But for some reason I havent been able to get their web site to pull up. Or I can get it to come up but get error messages when I try to pull up their product pages so I havent been able to get any details on them.
I pretty much gave up trying to mess with their site because I've done everything I can think of & still get the same problem. And they are the only site I have ever had this kinda trouble with.
Anyway I'd be just as interested in theirs if the cost is close & they offer similar options.

I have used a ZZP PCM. it was my first about 4 years ago.
I had some issues with it and ever since have been running an INTENSE PCM.

I don't think they are bad. I got one of the first for the SSEi when DHP were supplying them. Now, I understand that ZZP is supplying them.......simply using a DHP PowrTuner to reprogram.

That'* why I just purchased a PowrTuner. Do it myself.

Nobody supports Bonneville PCM'* like INTENSE, and there are some key differences when compared to the Grand Prix.

Try it from someone else'* computer, or post in the lounge about it, and we'll help you work it out with our little hacker guru'*.

I would give INTENSE a call (614-873-6499) and see how they can help you out.
As for the raised shift points I don’t think you need that. Unless you have some valve train work which would help make more power up there and prevent valve float.

Edit, I was kinda slow to realize what you were saying. Got it though

I have a friend who is a computer whiz with these cars but getting a hold of him or getting him to help you is next to imposable. He offered to do some tuning for me, but I have given up on trying to get in touch with him.
If there is a way I can do it myself I'd be more than happy to do it.

Intense uses frames on there web page, and I'm sure this is why your having problems. First thing you shoudl do is make sure you have the latest version of your browser. Then check yoru settings. I just checked the site and it'* working fine.

I'm not sure I can entirely agree with that statement. In fact DHP had, and still has, the best transmission parameters of all the PCMs.

Otherwise, the most significant differences are in the Torque Management aspects. Bear in mind TQ exists to save your hard parts in the event they have not been rebuilt to withstand the abuse people unleash upon them. In that regard, the amount of TQ that should be removed is somewhat subjective.

I've seen all of the variations of after market PCMs in great detail, both with the DHP PowrTuner and the HP Tuners, I can't say any of them really stand out.

Mind you, Intense does put a great deal of emphasis on customer service.

Cheers,

OK, I got the site to pull up on my basement computer.

Couple questions on their PCM'* ? or rather what is this in general.
What is Abuse Mode, & Differential Scoring Protection?
