Another company has built one with adjustable-length runners (based on RPM). It produced crazy torque, and contributed greatly to the demise of the 4T65E trans that was under it. The cost was extremely high, too. It was never produced beyond that one prototype.

how much for the prototype? IMO this would be the easiest thing to sell to ppl, given the faulty factory one.

I don't think the adjustable runner design could sell for under $1k. It's very involved.

Yes but take in the cost of a replacement lets say $400, then add 600 to it for the performance gains :wink:

It would take some work and a large market to get ADTR to produce it. More testing would be needed first. Anyone is welcome to try to talk Hector into it.

We've done that for simpler things, and I don't need say anything else.

You want runner length to differ for low end vs. high end. Vacuum does the trick nicely.

Hector's intake is a proprietary design, and there may be patents in the works. I'm not at liberty to share his ideas or the inner workings of the intake. I don't know a LOT about it, but I do know a bit of the theory, and that it worked. It was a major contributer to his 4T65E being transformed into a stool. He fragged it in a major way.
