just thought id share this with you guys i i have my pcv system running through oi catch can to keep my intake clean of oil every week on average i accumale almost a tablespoon of oil!, this buildup of oil usually is what starts to make your car feel more and more sluggish, becase of the oil that accumales in the intake passages almost like smoking here are my pics feel free to hit me up if you have any questions

heres the first pic just showing the seperation of the two chambers i then tapped a hole and installed brass fittings to route to my catch can the PCV valve is mounted inline to the catch can to retain factory its original function

Why did you decide to use something as large as that canister from a compressed air filter/regulator setup?

its not large and its a home mad oil catch can if you look at my thumb compared to its size its no bigger than drinking cup its chambered and we all know air is lighter than oil so it stays at the bottom and air goes up

That was done by one of our Gearheads a year ago. He'* on the fence (mixed results) as to whether or not it was worth the effort.

My opinion just after a week of driving i have not idles problem still pulilng the same amount of vacum and keeping all the oil from getting in my intake to me is worth thehour i spent doing all this and just curious how much HP you putting down willren?

Keeping the oil out of your intake is of no benefit whatsoever. In fact, It can have a lubrication benefit on the valves. The upper valve seals don't allow for much lubrication to the stems. Not to the point of failure, but you really need to look at what other VERY quick and powerful 3800'* have done before you.

The quickest 3800'* in the world don't mess with the PCV.

your telling me they dont mess with the PCV? the quickest have it blocked from the manifold and either mount them in the valve covers or use a check valve to keep the system running right under high boost levels, FACT and then youre going to tell me a oil soacked upper and lower intake is more efficent than a clean smooth aluminum and plastic?

And they do that primarily because they run intercoolers which inadvertently block the PCV.

And the valve cover breather is strictly cosmetic unless you've lost your PCV through
other mods.

If you have that much oil soaking in your upper and lower intake, you have compression
issues.

Take a good look at the Top 25 Bonnevilles in north america on the list. Only 3 have no PCV.

Those are the 3 that are intercooled (going by memory here, it might be 4 now).

who sticks a pcv valve in the valve cover to be cosmetic? anyways compression has nothing to do with oil vapors from the PCV vlave accumalating on the upper and lower intake once again let other people make up their minds on hat they want to do with their own car
