Fuel pressure
I know some of you guys have done this but I'm wondering what you can use to eliminate the stock fuel pressure regulator that is attached to the fuel rail. I want to run higher pressure for my supercharger. This is on a 1990 Buick Reatta w/ stage 1 supercharger.
The engine has been rebuilt with HD parts for the supercharger an blue printed and balanced. Can some one help me, Please.

Are you sure you want to eliminate the stock FPR? Vacuum controls fuel pressure. At idle with maximum vacuum you have minimum fuel pressure. At WOT on a non-boosted engine you have maximum fuel pressure. Adding boost to the intake also adds positive pressure to the diaphram in the FPR and increases fuel pressure even further. You may not have to modify the stock FPR.

Even if he was able to run higher pressure, wouldn't he still have to upgrade his injectors?

I'm going to move this to Performance and Brainstorming for better visibility.

Since you have an aftermarket FPR and appear to understand what you are doing, I'd think the best way to do it would be to look at plugging the existing hole where the FPR is located. Assuming you are using the external before the fuel rail.

Yes the engine is boosted. Fresh M62 w/ 2" pulley and an electric vacumn control for the blow-off. I get 9# boost at 3000rpm, just bliping the throttle. I don't know what the total will be under load yet. The standard */C 3800 engine has only 34# injectors.
