Definitely need a 1/4 list..... Administrators, can you help?? IDD IV is a full day at Norwalk raceway park in Ohio that Intense Racing rented for the day. All 3800 FWD cars are welcome, with multiple classes for fair competition. Go to their website at www.intenseracing.com, on the left of the screen is a contents list, click on the news link for all info and registry.

This is opening another big can of worms.
#1 The list may spark a fierce feeling of competition between BC members.
#2 Not everyone can get to a track, and have to rely on stopwatches or Gtech'*.
#3 Someone has to administer/approve/verify the list.
#4 Our software doesn't allow for it, so it would have to be linked to remote webspace.
#5 Are we trying to be like ClubGP?
#6 Some of the times from this site would spark more heat between us and ClubGP.
I'm opening this up for argument. Everyone state your cases/wishes, and pros/cons.
Keep it civil, and no fanning flames

I don't want to be like club GP, but I am proud to run my Bonnie. I suggest this only in the spirit of comraduery. Some people may fudge thier times, and this can be a problem. I put this fourth only to those who are performance oriented. For my part; I'm the guy who'* still trying to figure out how to turbo a wheel chair, but what do you do? We will never be as fast as some cars out thier but it'* fun for me when I get out thier and all these cats is snickering at me and my Bonnie. Love it when she jumps and gives um hell! No; I'm not trying to be like club GP even though I own a GP SE 3.8 and I do run that car too; but I just think it'll be a nice touch. You won't have to post if you don't wanna. Maybe we could even dispence with the idea of someone verifying the times and just go on the honnor system. Those on this board do seem to be more upfront than on club GP, and I'm not knocking them because I'm there too. What I am saying is that it would just be something we add for fun. Most of us know the BS times. So one way we could do it is next to your name in ALPHABETICAL ORDER and in this way we wouldn't have to worry about who'* #1or 2, etc... Just my opinion.

We'd have to adopt some specific guidlines. Posting links to timeslips/gtech data would be optional, with a 'no questioning' policy on all entries.
This doesn't solve the problem of who and where this would be Administered. I could post a simple *.txt file which would be quick to update and upload to my webspace, and post a link.
Hmmm.....the honor system is still a bit spooky. I think we could find a happy medium and accept Gtech data as well (for those like me without a nearby track), or if at a track, a timeslip. This allows more entries than most car forums. We could even accept ALL entries, and those with no timeslip or Gtech data could be listed as 'unverified' so they can still post their stopwatch data.
How about an Exel spreadsheet? It would be easy to maintain and upload after changes?
I'd be willing to test market this idea, and if we're to do this, I'd like to be the one to Administer it (this would help prevent questioning of verification, and give me the option to pull it if it becomes a problem).
