Default Just ordered some new goodies!

I placed an order with Intense, where the PCM for my car is now only $100 (plus $50 for core). I also ordered a 180 degree T-stat. Should come in pretty soon I hope (next week some time).

I am real excited, but I may need help with installing the pcm, as in how do you remove it from the car? I looked, and short of breaking it off its brackets.I could not see a way. Any help would be much appreciated.

There'* some bolts or something like them on the connectors that you need to undo. Then you can pull them off and put them in the new PCM. (I hope that is what you are referrring to.)

They should send you instructions. It'* a quick install. Just make sure you unplug your battery.

You are going to love that PCM. It will do amazing things to your car.

Your gonna love the intense pcm ,and that price is pretty damn hot. There'* 2 little bolt'* you need to loosen on top of the brackets, once you do that the 2 computer plugs come off with a little tug, pull computer out and replace with new one, plug it in and becareful not to overtorque the two screws when tightening.

Next big upgrade for me will be rockers. I had planned on doing a camshaft, but decided that reliability is important to me, so rockers, and possibly headers.

I do have a ported front exhaust manifold, thats also header wrapped, if I ever get around to getting it installed.

Get that ported manifold in there. That will take care of a lot of KR you might have. The PCM commands a greater timing advance, so you might get a tick of KR.

Call around to local shops, they will do it. I have got some prices before, not bad either. Just make sure they are reputable!
