Default U.G.L.Y!!! #'* from 4/18 dyno. DYNO CHART bottom pg

Waiting on the dyno chart -they're supposedly going to have it emailed to me this evening sometime.
Kemp was unable to tune as he didn't have any 98/99 Bonneville files in his PT and he wasn't able to find any HPTuners files for me that he could do there. A buddy of his has one and is forwarding it to him and we're looking at tuning in a couple weeks, but with PEM'*, 3.5" or 3.4" pulley and lighter rims.

Made two runs, the first run the coolant wasn't high enough to turn the Knock Sensor on so there was no KR (DETECTED). Second run coolant was up to temp and we say 9* KR (the other day when I scanned 2* of KR I had 91 non-oxy in -I just remembered that) and today I had Holiday 92 (oxygenated).

Run #1: 238.91 FWHP 274.xx LB FT

Run #2: 229.xx FWHP 259.xx (IIRC) LB FT

Todays setup:

3.35" pulley
UD WP pulley
180* t-stat
3" catless exhaust (mandrel bent from DP to front of fuel tank)
3.5" Fenderwell Intake
91 octane
ZZP (HORSESH!T) PCM

I'm not gonna say the oxygenated 91 (it'* labeled 92 but supposedly test'* have shown 92 octane now-days is really 91) caused 7* more of KR (more likely 2 or 3 tops).
PEM'* will be going on and until the MPS arrives the stock 3.8" is going to be reinstalled.

you're running a 3.35 pulley on stock manifolds?

Having seen 2* of KR peak in a FT throttle 2nd gear run Tuesday with air temps of 58* IIRC. :?
Don't know why it changed so much especially considering it was raining here today with the shop door open, but airtemps according to the dyno were in the 75* area. :(
I knew KR would climb with higher temps, but I didn't suspect they'd go up 7* with 15-17* change in air-temp.

that seems to be a way small pulley. I'm running a 3.3 and I have rockers and PEMs.

Travis was seeing 4* KR and dynoed 232.xx FWHP 261 FT LB with his 3.4".
His air-fuel ratio was beautiful though -right at 11.5-12.0:1

With the 99+ MAF tables Kemp added and when he installs the ported 99+ TB he'll be doing great.

One thing I know really hurt me today was when I changed my plugs from the stock gapped Iridiums to the Autolite 104s (.055") I suspected there was more KR so I nursed the car to the dyno with the exception of getting on the go-pedal when leaving Sauk (on the phone with Travis).

Yeah, definitely drop to a 3.5 until you can get PEMs or headers.

I wouldn't be calling out any pats yet. You're running atleast one size, maybe TWO too small pulley. PCM can't make up for that.

92 is 92, potential energy might be lower due to our Ethanol, but if it'* 92 at the pump, you get 92...

2 degrees of KR in 58 degrees is far too much to begin with.

I now know what is hurting me, 14 PSI boost. If I was to continue modding, headers would have to be my next step. What I was worried about, fueling, turned out to be perfect. Oh well, she'll have to be content being a highway cruiser.

I got Marty'* pull also, will get those up
