Unhappy need some help with code 41 please have tried almost everything i can think of!!

so short and sweet i bought my bonnie about 3 months ago (92 bonneville se) for $1000 brand new trans and 160 k on the body. 115 k on the engine (out of a 92 buick regal) car was great for a while then had a prb with code 26 got it to go away then got code 13 replaced the o2 sensor then got code 41 car now had 166 k and still has code 41 and i just had it in the trans shop for a new torque converter and valve body 800$ later and the guy at the shop said the TC and VB were fouled up from the cam sensor being out well i went to the dealer and they tested the cam sensor said it was good, tested the crank sensor said it was good tested the ignition module said it was causing my problems so i replaced that 135$ and still code 41 shook the wires and jimmied them around no luck so i have no idea what it is

it stalls every once in a while when i go to step on the gas
loss of power with ambient temp above 80
19 mpg cty/hw
trans now slips in reverse and has a loss of torque when engine is up to temp

i can hit the gas hard when i first start it in the morn and leave a strip of rubber
if i try that wehn i get done driving it sqeaks a bit and revs out

any help is greatly appreciated =]

Maybe your catalytic converter is plugged up? Do you have new plugs and plug wires?

no i am actually going to replace them tommorow because i developed a loud tick in the engine at around 1500 rmps and higher but nothing at an idle so im thinkng that it may be because of misfiring... my engine has ran fairly rough for a while but i may also be getting a new bonneville there is a 94 ssei for sale down the rd from me for only 750 bucks so im thinkin that may be plan b if i cant get bonnie fixed lol

now with an interupter magnet wouldn't that be fairly noticible if that was broken or missing when they pulled my crank and cam sensors out?

If you pulled the camshaft sensor and used a mirror to see inside the hole. Then you would have to rotate the crank till you see it or what is left of it.

Code 41: lost cam magnet in 3800

This site is very helpful
