Throttle Posistion sensor adjustment
I found this a few months ago and got around to it today after adjusting the boost solenoid. http://www.geocities.com/carnutguy/c...hancement.html
I bought 2 M4x12mm screws on friday and had some star washers already.
I used my volt meter and set the WOT to 4.27v and the idle to 0.7v.
It did idle a bit high for about 3 starts (13-1400rpm) and thought I would have to put it back but after a cruise around town for 20 min the idle settled down (8-900rpm).
Note it was tricky to get the original security screws off as my vise grips are a bit worn out, so keep this in mind.
These 2 mods I did today cost nothing but time and have improved the acceleration. Going to clean the throttle body this week and rotate the tires, less than 2 weeks untill the drags

Ya know this is the second sensor I got motivated to check and found was off. First was the boost solenoid which was off a little not allowing full boost, now I checked this and found WOT at 3.25! I still don't understand how. I checked it and its getting about 4.5-4.7 (old analog meter) and functions properly. I can move the sensor by hand and it'll go all the way up to dang near match the input so it works fine. The issue was the TB not pushing it far enough. "Fixed" it by adding a spacer between the throttle 'stick' and the sensor. Now at WOT I get about 4.3-4.4ish and its a whole 'nother animal. Its hot right now but later tonight I'm checking EVERY sensor I can get my hands on to make sure.
I need to get it down to the dyno so I can properly tune it but I'm not walking in the door with less than $500.
On a side note..I love how easy it is to work on our cars. 30min, pulled TB, tinkered with the sensor, fixed it, replaced headlight, and a test drive. Try that in a Honda

As soon as I quit posting with my problems!
But really, I don't want to post 10sec 1/4'* when after I figure out my MAF is rotten I get 9.4sec haha (dreeaaammmiinng) .....but you get what I mean. Right now I REALLY need a fuel pump and to go over my MAF with a fine tooth comb. Then hopefully I'll get some rockers and hit the dyno, not necessarily in that order.. THEN the track...

Oh AND a real CAI, not this pos I was test fitting before I pulled the engine and never got back around to doing right. Can't just bolt something like this together and expect it to be perfect from the box.

ZZP has a good list of free mods on their website, did you check those out?
do i need an M4 washer specifically, or will any washer that fits work?
