Question Performance Brake System Swap !!

wuts goin on !! got a few mods im working on and wantd a lil input.

my 95 bonnie is gettin an major upgrade, this summer im goin with a 26" rim for personal preference. heres the thing im have my front stuts modified so that the stut plate can clear the tire, very simple. but my thing was that since im goin from a 24" rim to a 26" rim i want more stopping power.

so i was wondering has anyone installed a set of slotted rotors and calipers and if does it change from the stock set up ? are the rotors bigger ? are the calipers positioned the same ? this is only for the front setup.

Now on to the rear, being that i have drums and shoes on the rear, has anyone ever swaped the drum set up to a rotor set up and if so what procedures were taken and are there any kits for these types of set ups !!

I have drilled and slotted rotors on the front of my car. Go on Ebay and search for R1concepts. Add to that ceramic pads and you will have stopping power. First time I hit the brakes hard I had to scrap my face off the windshield. Same size, so nothing needs to be modified.

As for the rear. There have been a few that ask, but as far as I know there are no kits available to convert to rear disk.

They are stock modified rotors. I guess you could turn them if you want, but that would reduce the depth of the slots. I have like 4 years on mine and still no need to turn them.

You can do any 12 or 13" brake upgrade that the 00+ Bonnevilles or 97+ Grand Prixs do if you switch to a 00+ Bonneville knuckle, Grand prix strut/spring, and use a shim for the piston rod.
