Air Intake Systems
I was thinking of upgrading my stock air intake and putting in a cold air intake, but I can't seem to find anything for my 1993 Bonneville. Any suggestions/products/prices/websites?

I gutted my 96 SE'* airbox the way it was shown in another thread. I noticed some improvement in the midrange. Well worth it. But i want to build a CAI now. These cars seem to respond well to air.

I took all the stock air-intake hardware out of the car, put a large K&N RIGHT on the throttle-body, and put the air-temp sensor out of the way of any heat at all, to fool the computer into making it think that the air its breathing is colder than it is, therfore giving it more fuel per stroke, compensated by the extra air from the filter directly on the throttle body.
this made a noticeable power difference, and completley changed the way the car sounds.
this route is also extremley cheap.... all you buy is the filter!!
my wife even made comments when she took it for a drive, before i had told her what i had done.

this is what i did...
i just routed the intake air-temp sensor down and out of the way of any heat.
p.*. my engine isnt normally this dirty....its been a long winter :-*

You do understand the way your set up you are sucking hot engine bay air in to the intake. And this robs you of some power. People will use a fender wall intake or a cold box to prevent that.
