The best way to get rid of torque steer on FWD cars is an LSD. The torque arms may help, but I don't know of anybody running them. I have not heard anything about them, except for what the description on their site says. Our GTP has virtually no torque steer since we installed the LSD. If I were in your position I would get a LSD, because not only will it help eliminate torque steer, but it will make your car quicker also.

Contact Scott Cook @ Intense-racing.com. He frequents the boards here and may be able to help you. Intense has Limited Slip Differentials for the 4t65e and the 4t65e-hd. They cost around $500 IIRC. Installs can be done by inexperienced installers in 6 hours or less easily. The Intense LSD'* come with an Installation video and it is pretty self explanitory. We set aside a whole weekend for the LSD install in the GTP, and it only took us about 10 hours, and that was making sure we did everything correctly, watching the video between every step. The second time it only took us about 4 hours. It isn't hard to do, you just need someone to help you out for a few steps, and there is a lot of stuff to do so it takes a while. I think your Bonneville has the 4t65e in it and not the HD, but I am not sure. Just tell Intense which model you have and they should be able to help you out.

There is alot more to it than that. lol actually the 4t60-e limited slip can be had and the unit costs 580.00 add shipping and call it 600.00. It would be a custom deal so he would (to do it properly) have to make a new pinion gear, or at least harden it.

The stock pinion can be broken by a 3.4 let alone a 3.8.
I have nothing against intense but my opinion is the 4t65-e limited slip they use does not lend itself to the 4t60-e as well as the C-ya racing unit. Oh the C-ya racing system is actually $500.00. There are other options but they are not out of the bag yet.

That said the cheapest deal would be to get torque bars made for your car.

The Thrasher arms won't fit an H body. They do work, though. If you have a welder and a Farm implement supply near you, you can probably fab them up for less than 50 bucks and 3 hours. That'* my plan. I already picked the parts.

Can the 4t60-e Limited SLip fit in the 4t60-e HD?

How much stronger is the HD over the regular anyways?
