I was wondering if anyone has information like a white paper or links to performance tuning. This scan tool i got yesterday is pretty high tech and i can record like 64 parameters for 300 stratight minutes. The questions i have are what are the most beneficial counters to monitor and what am i looking for for values. I have a set of paramters i am working on that includes things such as knock retard, Spark advance relative to TDC, RPMS, All the shift points, MAF flow, manifold pressure etc.
I have my coils and DIS 4 ignition that i am installing this weekend and want to use the scan tool to help tune the DIS-4. what counters should i be most concerned with, what values. I am new to this technology but i'm a fast learner!!
