1992 Engine
Alright so last june my 92 Bonne with 170,000 miles on it just died. i havent even taken the engine apart because i know its the timing chain.
Would it be cheaper to buy a used engine, or should i replace the headers and valves?
Im not paying any body shop labor, so it would be just parts.
if the engine being replaced is better off, can i go to the Series 2? Would it be safe to put in the series 1 with the supercharger, being mine is only the SE.
ive replaced all 4 struts, repainted the car, and sent it out last april for new interior cloth seating all around. so obviously i am keeping the car, and guys come on its a bonne, they shouldnt be trashed.
ill have pics later on, in "your ride", theyre from last april but still look good.

to swap to a S1 L67 or a S2 of anytype, you will need to change the trans, wiring, and PCM.
It can all be done its just a matter of how much you wanna spend and how long you willing to spend doing it.
good luck
