I was just wondering what all entails an ICM, just the coils or is there something else, my tech savvy friend said he wasnt exactly sure.

The ICM is the module BELOW the coils that they attach to. It takes inputs from the crank and cam sensors in order to decide which coils and cylinders to fire.

Since you posted this in Performance, I assume you're thinking of upgrading to something better? For 92-96 all models, upgrading the coils to MSD 8224'* will benefit you, or 97+ SE, SSE, or SLE, but 97+ SSEi'* had an equally hot OEM coil.

Both ZZP and INTENSE state clearly that the stock OEM ignition system is fully capable of handling hot mods. This is true for the 97+GTP and SSEI'*.

Anyway, do you have the '95 engine setup?

No i ended up getting the 92 engine because it had a brand new supercharger and tranny with it for much much less from a guy i found. But anyways, how hard is it to change the ICM because i took it to the shop today and my cam and crank sensors are confirmed bad and they said the ICM is shot also.

Well, the ICM, crank and cam sensor all disconnect from the main harness so I would check that connection first, the ICM ie real simple one screw in front removed the bulk harness from the ICM, remove the plug wires, and like 2 bolts hold the ICM to the bracket.

I would tend to agree that whoever told you both sensors and the ICM are bad is either a fool, or someone trying to take you for a ride. There'* an EXTREMELY remote chance this is true, but it'* a fraction of a percent.

Look for the common factor (as mentioned, the harness) or take it somewhere else for a second opinion. Have you pulled codes? I hope so. Trust yourself first.

Yes i pulled the codes, code 43, code 56 and 26

Clear the codes and try again. I'm almost expecting a wiring problem or PCM problem at this point.
