I have been talking about modding the SLE, but there hasn't so far been a thread about what I'd like to do. Time to make a huge list and work on two Bonnevilles at once yet again.

1.) Transmission The MI GP club president has a 10-second GP whose transmission he'* selling. What, aside from PCM adjustment, is necessary to install that? I think it bolts right in. Do the W- and H-bodies share the same trans mounts at least? While I may not pick up his transmission, stuff like that sells all the time. It'* generally along the lines of what I'd like to get, though I really want a 3.29 FDR.
2.) Harmonic Balancer I have an L67 shortblock in my garage, and it doesn't need the L67 harmonic balancer. The L36 and it should trade. I will need to pull the HB for a cam install anyway, so I guess this is not a big deal to me. What'* your perceived deal size?

3.) Cam I would like to keep OE lifters, rods, and rockers. If I want to spend less on springs, I can go wtih the S1X. My spring cost shoots up with any other cam, so is going to the XP worth it?

4.) Springs The L76/L92 springs mentioned here are insanely cheap and therefore are very necessary. However, are there some other springs you recommend that can help me use a higher lift cam? See #3.

5.) Supercharger I have some Gen 3 M90s, and I was thinking about porting one, closing up the silencer slots, and so on. All the regular stuff. However, I'm very interested in some probably old news about swapping out the rotors from an M112 or something of the sort. Anyone read about this? Does the Gen 5 support it?

6.) Throttle body I would like to use a Northstar TB so I can still use a MAF screen but have a huge opening. I recently read, though, that a very highly polished TB can outflow a bigger one. That means higher VE, and that'* awesome. I have a couple L67 TBs here that I could polish up pretty easily. Then again, I may flow enough air to make the N* TB the relatively "smaller" one that flows better than an even larger opening, like ZZP'* 78mm L67 TB.

Those are my questions for now. I have no idea when I'll do this, but I have already started collecting parts. While the above are questions, here'* my general mod list:
• Extremely heavy duty transmission
• L67 top swap including:
- Machined L67 heads
- Extremely VE-friendly throttle body
- Gen 3/5 M90 with a ~3.8" pulley
- Ported L67 LIM
- Harmonic balancer swap
• Cam/springs
• Heavy duty timing chain
• Headers
• 255 lb/hr fuel pump
• 42.5# injectors
• L67 fuel rail modified for NA fittings so I can fit an IC
• Big, fat intercooler

Any further suggestions? I have already invited PRJ Performance to swing by and tune the SLE when it'* all set up, so I don't need to worry at all about any installation hiccups or tuning. It'* likely that 1337ssei will help me with this, but I worry about sabotage. razysmile: No, Austin, you can't have a faster Bonneville. I'm going to invite my V6 Mustang friend as well to keep a close eye on him... The idea is to gather everything and then do it all in a weekend or less. I don't want the SLE work to interfere with the 94 SSEi, and that has been horribly delayed by food poisoning.. Twice...
