Default Shift Kits - are they worth it?

i am trying to figure my next - sub $200 mod (the Headers and LSD are really what i want but $$$$$).

Anyway, i am considering picking up the INTENSE shift kit. Any words of wisdom out there? how did it work for you? did it improve your 1/4 times at all? Any install problems? is it really worth getting or is it one of those things i could live without? Etc.
