i might have some extra bonus money soon and was considering throwing on a pro charger */c plus obviously all the upgrades while keeping stock engine and all that goes along with it... will this destroy my current engine? the speed shop i visited said a performance sc would yield me the fastest bonnie in town

Go to a GenV Eaton and intercooler. Probably cheaper in the long run, alot easier, and will probably net better results.

INTENSE and ZZP have both done GenV conversions. You'll have to also convert to an L32 throttle body or use an adapter plate. INTENSE has also converted a car to a Northstar throttle body with this setup.

I have no idea how many or who'* cars you have in Joliet to be able to tell you if you'll be the fastest in town.

Refer to our top-25 list to see where that might put you, but I'd bet we'll have at least 4 cars here quicker than you if not more. You've got alot more things to worry about, like whether your heads and exhaust will flow all that efficiently.

true, not too many bonnies that i know of in this town are modefied.. but i'm just thinking that with high performance sc i would be up there on the list... i'm not trying to break any records you know.. just knock the socks off the next guy that pulls up to me in a modefied trans am but i suppost there are other matters at hand..

The prochager is a centrifugal supercharger. Centrifugals have the bad traits of a turbo and any other supercharger but not any of the good traits. They can make good power up top but are weak on low end torque.

The companies mentioned have built some very fast Bonneville’*, they have learned what works.

Some GT'* with the non-SC'ed motors have used a CSC and have had some very fast cars. I don't know of many people using them on the L67 motor.
