Cheapo CAI?
If i don't wanna spend the money on a true CAI setup, could i just get some ducting/tubing to route Cold Air from underneath the vehicle into the standard airbox? I would probably cut a hole or something in it, and then hook up the tubing or duct that way. Wouldn't it add cold air to the box before it'* filtered and hits the MAF? it'* a cheap thing, and not real, but why wouldn't it work? Or am i forgetting something cause its 12:08AM and work was hell today? Or would this be more of a Ram Air type setup?

DeathRat, any noticeable performance gain from your custom CAI? I'd like to do something like that (until I get my actual intake, hopefully before summer'* over :? )
BTW, I had to wait to order the pedals since I don't have a credit card yet, and my dad'* is near maxed. I'm getting them once that'* taken care of. Thanks

I got mine done and mine is mounted right out in the open so it catches alot of air. I get better throttle response from 30-120... Of course I only go that fast when at the track.

You only go above 30 at the track? Hey, i was driving a green (aren't they all green, wait green=fast!) 92 bonnie SSE today that is my #1 for buying that sounds a lot like yours, loaded, but WITH leather. The HUD is pretty sweet, and the moonroof is nice, and the engine was sweeeeeet. I don't need to black out the lights cause the SSE already has the black stripes going over it, but it'* a nice car. I drove a blue 95 SE a little later but the A/C didnt work, and the paint isn't even close to the first one. Didn't think the exaust note would be as good as it was, specially with the higher RPMs... I've definetly decided on a Bonneville for my first car (well first one i bought). THESE THINGS KICK ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
