Default Got a couple manifold questions

okay...i have found a donor motor for my 92...it'* a series 2 l36 with a 4t65e rebuild tranny ....i'm getting the whole car which is a 99 olds 88. I'm gonna be taking the l27 and the 4t60 out and i want to know are the exhaust manifolds the same on both the l27 and the l36? cuz i'd like to port them while i have them off and maybe use them for a turbo application (after some deep research of course )

Thanks in advance

James

They are not the same. Totally different, and cannot be modified to work across platforms.

Check the ratio of the differential on that donor, and compare it to yours. You may not be happy (assuming you're using the donor PCM as well, it may very well be a 2.84 ratio).
