Default ZZP Downpipe

As just about everyone knows i have been modding my car. Recently i have added rockers to my car and have been looking for a downpipe option. As many may know there is not many choices for our body style. Zoomer at zzp has told me if i can get a stock downpipe from a 95-99 bonneville and 3 confirmed buyers they would start making them. Our downpipe are pretty restrictive and a worth while mod to do. On a na powered car they make a nice increase in top end power and on a supercharged bonneville they also make nice top end power increase and reduce knock. Sometimes allowing to drop a pulley size (3.4) with a few other supporting mods. If anyone is intrested pm me or write it in here. I want to get one to add to my rockers but i need a stocker and 2 other intrested people. Thanx guys for your time.

Mods.... i am not in any way part of ZZP, just a customer that wants a product produced.

Ohh. i dont know. I have contacted just about every company and zzp was the only one that was interested. I know a company called hogan performance makes them but there prices scare me and they dont offer a 2.5" for us na guys.

The problem with that is its a 3" downpipe, which for N/A guys (especially at his mod level) sacrifices too much low end torque. He is looking for a 2.5" downpipe which is why he needs to get one made unfortunately. But, I think he is going to have a hard time finding two other people that want them since it is for an L36 not L67 and I don't think too many of the L36 guys get too serious with downpipes, at least not for bonnies. I could be wrong tho.

I wonder how far the stock dp will go. I know they are less restrictive then the GP ones and the bend is less of an angle. Hmmm. what do you think?

As I'm sure you know, I had the stock downpipe on mine when I went 14.6. Hell, when I was M90 and running 13.2'* I was still running the stock downpipe. Obviously there were gains to be had with a bigger one, but keeping the stock one might not be too bad for you. I think I'd stick it out a little longer with the stocker.

i have heard on the bonne'* the most restrictive is the front manifold and the 6th primiary on the rear (a piece sticks up). I think i may get a PLOG and do some cat work. Should be worth a tenth and set me up nicely for the HV3. I hate the mod bug, i am fricken broke, and i need more mods. I feel bad for addicts, i might buy this one guy that is always at the corner saying "will work for beer" a six pack of busch.

i actually talked to him about 3 weeks before i started talking to you and i didnt know that was who you were talking about the whole time. I had asked him back then and he said he couldnt do it. I never pmed him this time because i figured he still wasnt interested. Did him seem interested when you talked to him about it?

TJ, I'm interested in this. I've been wanting to redo my exhaust, and a 2.5" DP is exactly what I'm looking for. How much would Zooomer charge us?
