Chevy Celebrity?

Is it possible to put a 350 in a Celebrity and switch it to rear wheel drive? is there a rear end that would fit in this car?

I would like to put a 350 in it with a 5spd Manual Trans through the floor and switch it to rear wheel drive... Is this Possible with little Fabbing?

anythings possible if you want to pay for it, which you would have to do if you wanted to switch that to rear drive.
it would take alot of custom work and fabrication but it could be done.
easily? no.

not possible with LITTLE fab. why do u want to do this?

With just a "little" fabbing? Probably not. Unless you can find a donor frame that closely resembles that body style. That would be the easiest way to do it.

You'd need a frame rail setup. You have to have a frame to support the rear end and the torque the engine puts out. They are getting quite common and I see alot of different offerings at Car Shows. Current pricing I've seen is $6500 for minimal (and you do alot of work, welding, and fabbing) to over $10,000 with steering, all wheel disc brakes, and ready to slip a 350 into. I know the feeling of liking something you have and feel comfortable with and wanting to make it faster, but for that kind of money and no real alternatives, I'd be stepping up and away from a Celebrity.

Anything is possible with some money in your pocket and access to a mig welder. I saw a Feiro nicely mated to a CJ5 chassis not long ago. Years ago I even saw part of a Safari Station Wagon on top of a 70's Chevy Van. Talk about sunroofs.......

If you can put a C6 Corvette drivetrain in a Civic. You should be able to turn your Celebrity into a V8 RWD Beast.

^This guy has done a conversion on a grand prix. This should give you an idea of all the work needed.
