Default Powerlog injector skew alternative

TJ'sblackbonne PM'd me with a novel problem and idea. Apparently gmtuners (sinisterperformance) can't skew the front 3 injectors by 2% to match the ZZP Powerlog in the OBD1/2 hybrid PCM.

We have another option. Chris Miller, of FIE (Fuel Injection Enterprises) fuelinjent is his username here, can skew your front bank by 2% over the rear during normaly cleaning/flowmatching service. This is assuming we have an L36 injector pool to begin with. We really need to have those extra injectors.

If we can get TJ and a couple other members to go in at the same time and offer up a pool, we can get this done for cheaper than a custom PCM burn or tuner, and offer up an option the 95 L36 owners wouldn't have normally. Should the number of injectors go beyond about 4 or 5 sets, I offered Chris my labor to help get through them.

Please note, if you are interested in this venture (this first big round), you MAY not get pre-cleaning flow numbers. That'* a time-consuming process (I've done this with him before). Normal one or two set batches would get these numbers, but not if we have to flow, clean, replace filters, flow/match multiple sets at once.

If you're interested in participating, or are just interested in discussing this idea, please post here. FIE'* prices are listed in his topic in the Vendor'* section. BC members get a 10% discount.

yea, i do remember reading that there was some. I am going to start looking around for some injectors. I will not be able to do this until i get back from vacation which will be around march 18th or so. But i may order the injectors (maybe from ed morad or if i can find someone selling some) and just have them shipped to chris before i leave for vacation. Lets keep this conversation going, i am very interested in having this done.

We can make this happen. I know GAMEOVER has the skew problem with the powerlog also. I PM'd him a link to this topic.

Good news for him is that there'* a good S2 L67 pool already.

I discussed this at length with FIE. Anyone interested should know 3 things:

1. This could be cheaper than a custom tune or tuning package.

2. This will benefit you in other ways. Better mpg'* and better hp. Not just the skew.

3. This will benefit you even MORE if you plan to port-match your L36 LIM (please wait for the second test car to produce data before hacking up a manifold).

Ok i have been in contact with 1993sle and he can get us all the injectors we need. So i am wondering who is interested. He said he would only charge us the JY price plus shipping, and we will pass his gas. So my idea is to get all of us together and pitch in our money in a pool and buy them and have them sent to chris for the pool. The more people we get the more injectors that will be in the pool which means better rsults for us and the people that follow us. So if you are interested post here and or pm me. thanx guys
