I was under the impression NA motors use different pistons, connecting rods, etc. Where'* billboost when you need him?

This is the information I based my opinion on.

The reasons this will not work are extensive. The L27 and L36 NA powertrains are actually quite different when compared to the L67 (SC). The heads are different, the lower intake is different, with different injector placement, the fuel rail is different, and the compression ratio is also different. And pushrods, lifters, and rockers. Now we get nasty. The L67 gets a heavy-duty Transaxle, too. Either the 4T60-E(HD) or the 4T65E(HD). Then there'* the PCM. And the engine wiring harness to go with it. This doesn't even get into the little things. About the only thing these cars really have in common other than outside appearance is the Throttle Body.

ok pat (1993 sle) has pretty much summed it up except for heads you need to put the L67 heads on the L36 because the L67 injectors are in the heads and the L36 are in the intake manifold. The tranny can also be easily upgraded to the hd version found in the supercharged cars too, it would take a hd differential and cover, and a passenger side axle from a hd tranny. ZZP sells all this stuff if im not mistaken.

You can add Nitrous. But that'* risky and you can blow the bejesus out of your motor.

Coils, plugs and wires. Only really noticeable if you've been driving around with bad coils, plugs and wires.

You can cam it and change the springs and rockers. But that'* a monumental task and you need to do other mods to get the full benefit.

You can change out the throttle body or increase the injectors. But, should also open the intake system for more air and the exhaust for more discharge. Then you'll probably want to do the cam, springs and rockers.

There'* no real single simple solution.

Start with intake and exhaust...open them up and let them breath.
