L 36 aeroforce first scan
yep just got my aeroforce scan gauge install . so far on a hot engine (195 themostat) hp 176 KR i get 5 degree at the most but only 2 degrees from a dead start .only mod on ,my car so far is a resonator and u bent delete and rice pipe kn4750 whit no heat sheild . i still have the stock plugs on this car for a 1998 and only 124,000 kilometers. i like to know is this is good for a L 36

Get a heat shield. That may definitely help out some of that KR.
Horsepower displayed isn't adjusted for your car. It'* at best a very rough estimate. If you get your car dynoed you'll be able to dial it in so that it'* actually displaying the right value.
Try running some premium for a tank and see if that KR goes away all together too.

well I changed my plugs tonight and did a scan with a buddy and he said I was sitting at 5 KR too I wonder if that is the magic # for the L36

0.0 KR is the magic number. Anything else and you need to look for a source of knock or false knock. Try a tank of premium fuel and see if that helps the KR. Look for anything that might be making enough noise on the engine to cause KR. (loose bracket etc)
5 degrees is not considered a good number at all.

Since the L36 has 25 degrees of timing at WOT. Its not uncommon to see a few degrees of KR. But Like boosty said 0.0 KR is the magic number.

The 95 Bonneville L36 came with 19* and I have been trying to figure out if the 96+ came with more.
