L27 heads on a LN3?
They have the same block, so I am wondering if L27 heads (1993-1995) will fit with the LN3 intake, or can I use the L27 intake mani'* and exhaust mani'*?
Looks like I'm getting the Lesabre Limited rather than the Nissan, so in case I can't get the Park Avenue Ultra (current bidding is at $450 and I question if the trans is good because it was hit so hard in the left front) I might just convert to an L27 upper end -if it'* possible.
TIA,
Martin

So you would not be able to use the L27 heads with the LN3 intake... It would have to be L27 heads and intake...
What year is this Le Sabre you are talking about?
There are a couple of minor diffrences with the bolt holes in the blocks as well... But say if this was a 1992 Lesabre or 93 Lesabre, the LN3 block could be made to work with very slight rigging...
We figured all of this out the hard way a long time ago...
On the Torque axis mount bracket to engine block you will be minus one bolt as there is a missing bolt hole in the block... lol... Fun Fun..

Don, the Lesabre is a 1989, Limited, but without all the toys I would have considered part of the Limited package. It has no power mirrors, no power passenger seat, speedo with fuel guage -only two guages, no digital climate control, no power antenna, manual passenger seat (both of the other 1989 Lesabre Limiteds in the family have dual power seats). I guaruntee though, that the power antenna will be added as well as the full guage cluster, and possibly the power mirrors (I HATE manual mirrors in -20* weather).
Haha -I have my eye on a 1995 Park Avenue Ultra at the auction that was hit hard -aka not gonna be a fixer. I am thinking a nice L67 swap into the 1989 Lesabre might be on the menu, but I have to look at the car in person to verify the trans case isn't junk since the car was hit hard in the left front -from the pics it looks like the tranny **might** have survived, but only seeing it in person will tell. I know it'* gonna cost almost $1G for the car, but with my parents having a 1993 Ultra and my uncle having a 1996 the body and interior parts will be nice to have on hand (interior is the same color as the 1996).
I also have the original 16" Buick rims from my moms 1993 Park Ultra and will be putting some nice 225/60/16 rubber on there along with the FE2 sway-bars from the 1997 SSE if they'll fit and Poly end-links. Would make a hell of a sleeper if I got the L67 in there.
