where get upgrades?
Hey guys, Im new to the forum. I just picked up a 2000 SSEI. Im looking to do some mods. By reading some of the articles, I thought I would start off with a
1. cold air intake
2. Pulley
3. high flow cat. & muffler
4. 180 degree thermo
5. pcm
Is that about the right order I should be picking things up? And more importantly, Is their one particular website I can goto to pick these up?
I found this site, for grand prix'*. Are most the engine/ exhaust mods applicable on both cars? Do they have good prices? http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...tegory_Code=GP
appreciate the help.

My experience would be more like,
1. tstat
2. Cold air intake
3. at least ported exhaust manifold but prefer headers with flex down pipe.
4. high flow cat, stock mufflers are fine.
5. pulley and spark plugs (one heat range cooler).
The pcm upgrade will need a stronger valve train along with the above items.

You can find everything you need at www.INTENSE-Racing.com including the two fastest Bonnevilles in the United States both of which happen to be 00 SSEis.
I would recommend, 180 T-Stat, Autolite 104 plugs gapped at .055, 3.4 pulley, FWI Intake and PCM.

front motor mount,
you might want to make a solid mount to help limit engine movement
i have over 75k mi. on mine with no problems
a $10 fix.
