Somebody at INTENSE would probably be your best resource on that. It'll depend on the chassis somewhat, but I'd suspect the physical mounting features on the block itself are probably the same. Don't quote me.

Is the Series III only available in the Grand Prix?

Still, as Willwren mentioned, the mounting is body specific as opposed the engine series specific. Otherwise, all the mounts should be interchangeable but you may need to consider other things like oil filter adaptors, oil pan and pickup not to mention the Series III is "fly by wire".

Cheers,

I was thinking that I could swap out the mounting L brackets with a series II. I need to know if the mounting holes for the brackets are the same. Are they same for series I, I wonder?

Not sure about the oil pan and filter, I'll have to ask that as well.

I just need to secure this engine, I can handle everything else.

Yes.

The L32 and L67 share the same block so bolt holes for the mounts should be the same. You will have to swap over the mounting brackets to the L32 (if thats what your trying to do) in order to place it in an L67 application. Also all the accessories may be different especially if your moving to a different platform (the L32 is only available in the W-body) such as our H-Body.

Thanks, that sounds like a plan.

Is a L67 same same throughout the years? Meaning is a 1997 series II the same block as the L67 off of a 2003?

I imagine the Series I is an entirely different block.

The series 2 L67 is the same block. Series 1 L67 is different. Remember though that a block is just a block, this doesnt not include heads, intakes, accessories etc... Most S2 L67 long blocks will be transplantable however you need to be careful of the accessories.
